2017 Gift Guide
My inspiration for this year’s gift guide was rooted in the principle that influences almost every purchase I make: versatility. I think versatility is so important when buying a gift, because while you may designate a specific purpose to an object, someone else might see it in a completely different way.
Each of these gift ideas can serve multiple purposes, and some can even satisfy multiple people on your list. Who knows, you may even snag a few of these for yourself!
1 – These delicate gold inlay bowls from Canvas are perfect as a catchall for jewelry, or as a salt holder, or as a decorative addition to any room.
2 – Scent is a tricky gift, but this John Galliano candle by Diptque is a classic. The spicy, masculine blend will make any home smell like heaven.
3 – I think these Post-Poo Drops by Aësop make the perfect (albeit cheeky) hostess gift, because, everyone poos.
4 – This fringed cashmere scarf by Johnstons of Elgin is a classic and works for both men and women.
5 – This beautiful Italian stationery set would be a welcome addition to anyone’s desk.
6 – The Tech Dopp Kit 2 from This Is Ground corrals all of your technology into one stylish place. Perfect for everyday organization or travel.
7 – These thin striped linen trays are great for the kitchen, the table, or for displaying your favorite things.
8 – We all need a little more poetry in our lives. The latest from author Rupi Kaur delivers.
9 – The simple black and white design of this hand towel will compliment anyone’s decor. Perfect for the kitchen or bath.
10 – This marble and wood serving board is just the right balance of classic and modern.
11 – Take Savasana to the next level with an eye pillow.
12 – This pretty jewelry case from Cuyana is the perfect gift they would never buy for themselves.
I hope this list gets you in the mood to give! Even more important than finding the right gift is connecting to the joy your friends and loved ones will feel when they open it. Besides, that’s what the season is all about: spreading joy.
