Fall 2025

I’ve resisted my favorite season for the past few years, probably because I needed more unstructured, carefree energy in my life. But now I’m craving the order and organization of fall — something polished and crisp. Give me a three hour Iyengar rope wall class, a shiny new datebook, some luxurious fabrics, and a bone dry vodka martini (three blue cheese olives, please) to sip in front of the fire whilst listening to The Life of Showgirl on repeat.

That’s how it goes, right? Things change — everything changes. I had pledged allegiance to summer and now here I am, loving fall again and feeling moody in the best possible way. Yoga teaches us not to grasp onto anything because it’s all part of nature (prakriti) and therefore impermanent.

Our trip to the Scotland Highlands this summer definitely inspired a shift from shoreline living to British style, which autumn epitomizes perfectly. We visited Cawdor Castle (highly recommend) and I loved all the gardens, the tapestries, and the juxtaposition of wood and stone. Throw in my return to lifting weights and running and you’ve got a lot of powerful energy fueling my fall vibes.

I like every single thing in my collage (below), starting with the botanical tapestry pillows, followed by the crocodile datebook, and then the fabulous cocktail glasses. Also, everything else. Note: I’m so excited to have found a similar splatterware set to the one I have since it has been discontinued!

And then there’s the fashion. I haven’t been this excited about fall fashion in a while, which tracks considering I spend most of my time in spandex. The tailoring, the textures, the colors—everything seems to match my mood. I needed a new pair of jeans and just bought this super flattering cut from Frame. I also got the sheer polka dot ankle socks which I can’t wait to wear with loafers or heels. I think a leather skirt is an essential for fall because it goes with literally everything and can be dressed down with sneakers or dressed up with heels. Everything else on this collage is a yes (please) from me!

I hope you find the space to spread out into yourself this fall. Structure creates that kind of freedom. For me, the practice is all about finding the balance between containment and ease, and I continue to learn that an unwavering, vigilant dedication to strength and structure gives me the freedom I’m looking for.
