Hello, 70-degree weather! We made it. Hallelujah!

Hello, 70-degree weather! We made it. Hallelujah! Winter lasted forevah and now spring is exploding and this week it’s May? We’re gonna blink and it’ll be summer. It’s got me thinking about my favorite weekend of the year at my favorite place: Heathen Hill!!! I’m leading my annual summer retreat July 18-20 and I want you to anchor your summer with this special getaway. Heathen Hill is nothing short of magic. I mean, just look at this picture!! The retreat is the perfect balance of fun and relaxation — there will be twice daily yoga classes open to all levels and then it’s full-on napping/swimming/reading/hanging out/drinking iced coffee/rosé with amazing people kinda vibe. Basically the perfect summer weekend. Also, the food is THE BEST, the end.

My website got a refresh, and I’m so excited to share it with you! 🎉

When COVID hit, I quickly pivoted and have spent the past five years dedicated to teaching online. I’ve maintained a consistent schedule of weekly classes, built a huge library of recordings on demand, and designed my very own 300hr and 200hr virtual trainings. I also moved, bought a house, and have been engrossed in motherhood.

Every pivot I’ve made has pushed me out of my comfort zone only to bring me closer to what matters most. This one, especially, challenged everything I thought I knew about what was possible.

Case in point: Never in a gazillion years would I have thought that teaching virtually could feel so intimate and personal — that I could find a true sense of community online — but here we are.

What we’ve created together is solid gold ✨

I’ve reimagined my website to reflect that magic, and to create a home base for our community, expand membership offerings, and return to my blog (which I’ve missed so much 🤍).

I’m thrilled to share my vision with you!!!

In addition to unlimited live classes and a searchable library of hundreds of recordings, members will now also enjoy exclusive programming on demand — shorter practices, like 10-min core and 15-min glutes, that you can snack on anytime.

You’ll also gain access to member-only content on the blog. While I’ll still publish public posts, I’m so excited to have a space where I can open up and speak directly to you.

Heading into weekend 8 of my 200hr teacher trainin

Heading into weekend 8 of my 200hr teacher training and I can’t believe the program is almost over! 🤯

We’re at that point in the training when it all starts to come together — the anatomy and mechanics of the poses are now influencing how the trainees are designing their sequences, the posture assessments are now inspiring them to teach what they see, and the philosophy is now infusing their approach. They’re not simply memorizing sequences or calling out names of poses or regurgitating cues…they’re TEACHING. AND IT’S EXCITING!!! No matter how many times I do this, I’m blown away by the practice of yoga and the process of teaching. Only 3 more weekends left. Time flies when you love what you do.

Some photos from our epic retreat in Dominica. We swam to hidden waterfalls and hiked to mountain tops, practiced yoga twice a day and hung out by the pool. It was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. To share this experience with my students was EVERYTHING. Old friends were reunited and new friendships were born. And omg what a thrill it was to watch some of my students meet for the first time in person after having practiced together on Zoom multiple times a week for years! WILD. Jungle Bay was magical and welcomed us back with open arms. It was like coming home. ❤️
