Friday, September 16th

A Teacher’s Intensive – Digging Deeper
See your practice in a new light by digging into the nuances of asana. We’ll practice looking and articulating our observations through asana labs, practice teaching, hands-on adjustments, prop work, and discussion. This intensive will spark new questions and inspire your approach to yoga on your mat and in your classroom.

6-8pm
Forward Bends
Forward bends are cooling and quieting poses that can help us access an inner steadiness and grace. they can be challenging poses for flexible and tight students alike, and so we’ll explore these poses from both sides of the coin in order to create both stability and space in the body.

Saturday, September 17th
10am-1pm
Core Stability
Core stability supports our skeleton and integrates our movements both on and off the mat. this workshop is designed to challenge your core in unexpected ways, promoting a clearer understanding of how to connect to your center and your practice.

3 -5pm
Everyday Yoga Philosophy
Yoga philosophy is an accessible guide to living a wholehearted life. in this workshop we’ll dig into one of the main philosophical texts of yoga: the yoga sutras of patanjali. We’ll take an in-depth look at some of the tools, ideas, and practices that can help you connect to yourself and your life everyday. experienced students will learn new ways of thinking about the sutras. it’s not necessary to bring a copy of the yoga sutras, although please feel free to bring your favorite translation, if you’d like!

Sunday, September 18th
10am -1pm
Take Flight
Arm balances require a strong overall integration of the body on all levels—body, breath and mind. this workshop will strategically “wake up” the components of arm balances so that you can access the practice no matter where you are in your journey.
